Affirmations for setting boundaries

Setting boundaries is hard, takes practice, and can feel uncomfortable — but it is absolutely essential. If you're struggling with setting boundaries, here are some affirmations you can use to become a master at protecting yourself and your boundaries.

  • “I am worthy of protecting my own energy.”

  • “I am not responsible for other people’s emotions and behaviors.”

  • “I am not on this Earth just to please others.”

  • “I deserve to take care of myself and say ‘no’ when I want to.”

  • “I release the need to control other people’s opinions and feelings about me.”

  • “It is kind to be clear and set boundaries.”

Try saying these affirmations to yourself and see how it feels. Remember, setting clear boundaries is one of the best gifts that you could give to yourself. I believe in you.
